CHRISTiCHURCK, May 21. ■ The City -Council to-night carried'- a resolution endorsing the motion passed* hy a public meeting in Dunsdin, urging, in the interests of national efficiency, Ithat the hours for the sale of liquor should be from 8 a.m.. to 6 p.m. The iMayor was also asked to convene a public -meeting- in support of the movement.
