MEETING AT MOTUBKA.

A meeting convened by Mr J. Wallace, the (Mayor, was held at Motueka last evening to discuss the representation of Nelson province atthe forthcomine National Apple Show .at Dunedin. Messrs a. ?- Allport, W. S. Snodgrass, C Mllner,-W. M. Bolt and A. Gould,, members of the Nelson Committee, were present at the meeting. Messrs Allport, and Gould outlined what had been done on this side of the. Moutere Hills in. . connection with the Nelson exhibits. It was announced at the meeting that • 'donations of £5 each had been made , .bv the Motueka Harbour Board. Motueka IBorough Council, and the Motueka Horticultural Society. Mr P.. P- Hudeon. M.P.;-has also made a donation. The meeting, rwhich was thoroughly representative of Motueka, and most enthusiastic, set up committees to raises further funds and to select, pack and ship exhibits for the National Showv
