The demand! for sheepskins was good, values ranging up to 13£ d for supers, Svhich is almost a> record price for the local market, and hides showed' a marked advance of fully .id per lb oyer last fortnight; all sound lots being keenly sought after. All .bale lots of wool now coining to hand will he held for the.first wool sale of the season to be .held on 15th November, but the next fortnightly sale for "sMns, hades, J&n& oddments wall be' held on Friday, 27th as usual.
