PEOPLE'S PICTURES. To-Tik'ht the management of ihe People's Pictures will present one of the most gigantic ever put before a Nelson audience. The programme contains two features, exclusive to the Theatre Royal—namely. "Helen of the North." one of Famous Players' latest features, and "The World Film's" elaborate and in many parts beautiful production. "The Heart of the P.-ue Ridge." The first features the popular and charming: actress, MarJTlierie Clark, who is not only versatile and clever, but has a oerscnal attraction that is irresistible. The picture is produced on a most lavish scale, and has been a great success in the three NewZealand cities in which it has been shown. The second. "The Heart of the Bine features Clara Kimball Young., who is one of the daintiest and most loving personalities apjiearing in the picture world. The story is of a airi ■with two lovers, one good, the other bad, and shows how Clara Kimball Young- a.s "Plutina." is carried off to the mountains by outlaws. Her lover organises a rescue party. She is rescued after a most exciting chase, and saved from a fate a thousand times worse than death at the hands of her abductor, who. after a fierce struggle on the brink of a cliff, is jinrled to certain death. Another of the cartoon Silhouette film will also be show;!. Owintr to the great length of •the ■progremme, the first picture wi'l be screened punctually at 8.
