FURTHER ALLEGED MISTAKES. (Published'in The Times.) (Rec. July 17. 9.30 a.m.) LONDON", July 16. Surprise is expressed at the increasing exposure of the Mesopotamian mistakes. One extraordinary instance occurred on March Bth. At dawn after a brilliant night march a- British column commanded- by Ma for-General Kemball, reached the great Dujailah redoubt at Essesing, two hours' march from Kut. The redoubt and' adjacent trenches were found empty, the Turks being on the other side of the Tigris. Yet no attack was launched until 10 in the morning, when the Turks crowded the positious. Mr Candler describes the long march in the darkness and- the discovery ■>£ the empty redoubt. No further particulars a,re even yet allowed to be published.
