The Theatre Royal was filled by ? large and well-pleased audience last night. when "The Woman Who Did" was finally screened. To-night a com plete change ct programme will __ 'v shown, the leading film being a "W-ar-:-Film/' presenting Vivian -Martin. en titled £ 'The Arrival of Perpetua." Per petua is a rich little girl, an orphan, with a guardian very much older th=: herself. This man is an absent-minde" dreamer, unaware of his responsibility to-Perpetua. The girl wanted to live i" her guardian's house, 'but instead eut to her father's half-sister's. Miss Mijerdic. an angular spinster of 60, w:t* a predilection for monkeys, parrot--cats, add dogs. Perpetna is not bapp* in this antique environment, so she rmu away and forces herself upon her mocd' guardian. Thaddeus. He endures he: for, a time and finally ships her back t his sister's.
