We want every Farmer to use— ROCKLAND Phosphae It Beats all other Manures and gives wonderful results when used on Grain Crops Root Crops Orchards & Heps It is also fcy far the best Top Dressing MANURE ON THE MARKET. I! you once use this Celebrated' Manure you will use no other. Rend what some of our local and wt l 1-kn<> wu \:irmcrs say : Motueka, Jan. sth, 1915Messrs Bisley Bks., and Co., Nelson. Dear Sirs, —It affords mie much pleasure to be able to advise you of the oreat success I have from the 5 torus of Rockland Basic Phosphate Manure which I purchased from, you a few months ago. For many years I have been ar large user of imported Superphosphates. Basic s^a S andl various brands of New Zealand Freezing Companies' mixtures; but I HAV E NE\ ER HAD SUCH MARKED SUCCESS from anv manures as 1 HA\E HAD THIS season from your basic phosphate. in syite of worse weather conditions than \ve have experienced for many veava. I used a portion of you'- .manure to TOP DRESS some of my GRASS LAND and the 'balance I used onj oats. One paddock I manured and shut up for hay. and desnite the'dry season and general bad year for .grass, I had from tli s very old pasture a v-eiY good crop, while imoiamiretl paddocks shut up gave poor results. I manured 1 or.e paddock on which 1 run my cows regularly and •left the others. The PADDOCK "WHICH WAS MANURED I SHOULD THINK PRODUCES ABOUT 25 PER CENT. MORE FEED THAN ANY OF THE UNMATURED PADDOCKS. Clovers came in a ./surprising manner although clover had not shown: to any extent for some years. As well as this, THE GRASS SEEM'ED TO GRO W FRESHER AND TO CONTAIN MORE NOURISHMENT, as the cow s milked better and did better when, oil' the manured pasture. I had sufficient manure to cover half my oat crojj and' for the remainder I used a Freezing .Company's special grain manure. THE OATS ON WHICH I USED THE BASIC PHOSPHATE DEFT TELE OTHER OATS FAR BEHIND, AND TO SUCH A MARKED EXTENT THAT PEOPLE ASKED ME WHAT I HAD DONE TO HALF' MY CROP. I am so pleased with my success with this manure 'that, I think every farmer should know of its qualities', and to s'ee this, end, I', would be pleased to give every farmer further . .particulars and show the actual results. I cair confidently tccommend 'Rockland Base Phosphate, and my order for the coming season will be about 5 tons. (Signed) W. W. Livesay. ' Bri-ghtwater, . - Feb. 9th, 1915. Messrs Bisley Bros, and Co. Nelson. Dear Sirs, —We have to advice.you of oar 'success with Rockland Basic Phosphate Manure. We purchased' t/wo tons fromi you, and 'although .late inr the season, applied a ipt>rt : oru of -it to one half of our CLOVER PADDOCK. The other half of this paddock we topdressed -with Basic Slag. The difference between the two manures ' was most marked, and WE HAD A REALLY WONDERFUL RESULT WITH THE BASIC iPHOSPHATE. The portion •manured with the Basic Phosphate grew stronger, itaJler, and) the clover was bright .green, whereas THE BASIC SLAG PORTION had. a yellowish tinge, and WAS DECIDEDLY INFERIOR. We 1 are so pleased with our success with thas'manure that we will .use", large, quantities during the coming season. {Signed.) NEWMAN BROS. ; , Although the jpaddock was' not toparessed. the following year the result was even more noticeable, .which proves that BASIC PHOSPHATE IS A LASTING MANURE. • Riwaka. . ; March llfch, 1915. Messrs Bisley Bros, and Co. , . 'Nelson. Dear Sirs,—lt affords me much ..pleasure tobe able .to advise you. of my success with -the Rockland Bas'c Phosphate manure' which I purchased from, you last July. I used this manure on my ; GRAIN CROPS (OATS AND WHEAT). The paddock where this grain grew is the poorest piece of land on any property and! DURING -THE, FORTY YEARS I HAVE HAD THIS PLACE I HAVE NEVER HAD A CROP SO GOOD BY HALF. It is the opinion of the Farmers in this neighbourhood .that any. oat crop, is the.'besb in the district, and my wheat crop is exceptionally good. I HAVE TO PUT THIS SUCCESS DOWN TO YOUR BA.SIC PHOSPHATE. - Y make use of thijs reference to help to make; the manure known, as after my success I feel St is the best manure and the cheapest' on) the . market.- • ' (Signed) Alex. Druimmond. Motueka, . f Jan. 14th; 1915. Messrs Bisley Bros, and Co. . . Nelson. Dear S'rs,—T have great pleasure in advising you of. the success I have had from the Rockland Basic Phosphate which I purchased' from you last- July J; I used the Majority on GRASS PAD-' DOCKS, and I can confidently say that DURING THE TEN YEARS I HAVE HAD THIS' PROPERTY I HAVE NEVER . HAD HALF THE CRASS I HAVE HAD .THIS SEASON, I have stocked the ground, as hoavily as usual. The effect, of your manure is even mote siirptf'ising seeing that the season lias been, exceptiona 11 y dry and a genural had V-oar:'for'-crass. The BASIC PHOSPHATE FORCED the GRO v, OF CLOVER IN .MY PADDOCKS WHERE CLOVER HAD NOT SHOWN FOR YEARS. I am ;so -satisfied w !<th the m a.n ure 11) at I will largely increase my order for the coming season. I will be pleased if any farmer wanting further particulars will come along "'and see the results. , ■ (Signed). L. Francois, We have large phipm-ents -ajrr'viing in July, August and September.. Forward us , your order promptly to ensure delivery. Rockland Basic Pho&nliate runs through the drill well. It. gives the result, it is a lasting manure and it sweetens and improves your soil. 'Let lis know your requirements to-day. BISLEY BROS. find Co. Sole Ageot for Nelson District.
