HIGH COM.MISSIONER'S- REPORT. The High Commissioner reports:— London, Jan. 10. '4.55. p.m. ■ Mr Chamberlain, in the House of Commons; announced that heavy, fighting had occurred on both banks of the a.igris on Friday. Two oi the enemy guns and 700 prisoners .were taken by,the British. The enemy was in full Tetreat on Sunday, and the British were pursuing him. A MOST IMPORTANT VICTORY. London; Jan. 11. Colonel Aylmer reported, "The enemy are retreating. I am -pursuing. Heavy rain hinders the pursuit." The enemy have fallen back on Orah. TURKISH CONCENTRATIONS.
