RUSSIAN TRENCHES CAPTURED.
PETROGRAD, July 16. The Austrians on. the 13th took the offensive in ; the Mesviskar —Okna sector, and attacked bur bridgehead on the right bank in the district of Kunichovce and Kolianki. They crossed the Dniester in til© districts of Ivanijijava, Koscelniki, and Sinkow. On the 14th our artillery bombarded them during the passage of the river, and obliged the enemy at some places to abandon the crossing. The engagement continues. CHEkSMAN OFFICIAL STATEMENT.
