The National Executive of the .New Zealand Political Reform League adopted the following resolution :•—' 'That in view of the grave crisis through which; the country is passing, it is desirable fco obliterate as far as possible all party distinctions and differences, to enable citizens of all ranks and .standing to work unitedly for the common good in the interests and defence of the Empire, whose very existence depends upon the result of the war in Europe j and aooing that the assembly of delegates . for the discussion of political questions and party organisation, might', tend to distract attention from the moro important and vital issues; with which the Government is called upon to deal, the Executive is of opinion that the usual annual conference of delegates should bo abandoned this year."
