Bombadler C. N. Louisson, of Nelson, was among a number of sick soldiers admitted to hospital at Cairo from Gallipoli on the 7th inst.

Lieutenant A. C Rout, who was wounded at the Dardanelles, has embarked for England.

Mr C R. Fell is at present in- Wet lington, attending the Court of Appeal He returns on Tuesday morning.

Sister R. Levien, sister of Mrs W. Lock, Nelson, and a member of the Wanganui Hospital staff, wag. amongst the nurses who left on the Hospital Ship on Saturday.

Mrs. M. O. Jacobsen has received word that her son, Private Charles Jacobsen, who was wounded at the Dardanelles, has recovered, and has been sent to the front.

' Mr George G. Stewart, Station-master at Port Nelson, left on Saturday for Metcer, where he has been transferred on promotion.
