On July 24th there would be a Market Dav, when produce would be sold in Trafad-gar-street. . ■lt was resolved that the Sports Urn-, mi'ttee* have a separate bank account. Mrs Crawford reported that the - arrangements 'fox .house to .house collections -were'proceeding, and nearly all the streets had now been arranged for. The Secretary reported that the Po<tfa,l Department' had agreed to forward letters and telegrams on committee busihes free of charge. It was resolved to enlarge the Committee by adding four representatives from each school district to the General Committee* and one to the Executive It was resolved .that for the time beino-- - the Mayor, Messrs J. E. Aden, iand Wallace.Snodgrass, and Mrs Crawford Sign cheques. . x ,-. - < ;- r-" ' The matter of appointing tru steles was deferred till the country nominees were added" to the Committee.
