SUCCESSFUL OFFENSIVE ON THE •OSONiZO. ITALIAN SUBMARINE TORPEDOED (Official.) IRQME, June 18. We : are progressing on both sides of tjae Adige. 'We dismounted some Austrian- gains in ■Caroia, arid; further damaged the fortress of jVlalborgetto. We took 600 prisoners in 'the Montenero region, including 30 officers, and manyi rifles andi two machine 'guns. We annihilated a Hungarian battalion, which violently attacked our positions north-eastward of Montenero. Our offensive on the Isonzo is progressing." : . Our troops', debouching, towards Plava, conquered after a sanguinary action the surrounding heights, and repulsed repeated: obstinate counterattacks. ■Our* artillery fire partly destroyed the railway station at Goivs. Our naval airship bombed the important railway junction of Ddvaca, doing great damage.
