The Government- return of exports for the month, of April has "bsen issued, and shows the total value of exports lot that month as £2,818,449, as compared -with £3,141,394 in From this and previous returns the "Trade Review'* - has compiled the folio-wing comparison of the exports of the- principal products for the seven inoatos of our exports for the season) October to April:—

The net increase for the seven months is £3,385,51-1, or slightly over 20 per cent., which practically • all arises from the three chief lines, wool, frozen meat, and dairy produce.
