' EIGHTH CASUALTY LIST. SYDNEY, May 7. The eighth Dardanelles casualty list shows that Lieutenant. W. Hodgson -died irom. wounds. Two hundred and thirtyfive men were wounded. TOTAL CASUALTIES NOTIFIED 498. (Rec. 9.35 a.m.) SYDNEY.. This Day. The Australian casualties in the Dardanelles. at . present notified total 498. Private advices .state, that Lieutenant G. Steen ,reported killed in action, has only been slightly wounded. MESSAGE FROM COLONIAL SECRETARY. >. WELLINGTON", This Day.
