POSITION OF CANDIDATES. The only change in- the position of Carnival Queen "candidates as a result of clearing the ballot boxes to-day was that- Miss Bland has displaced Miss Harris for second place. The positions now are:— Miss Buchanan (Oddfellows.) Miss Bland (Hop and Barley Growers.) Miss Harris (Defence Rifle Club.) Miss Bradley (Territorials.) IVTiss Baxter (Hibernians.) Miss Betts (Public Service.) Miss Peart (Farmers' Union.) Miss Hamilton (Swimming Club.) Miss Hair (Old Bovs.) The committee of Miss Betts, Public Service candidate for the Queen Carnival election, desires' to thank the Entertainers, Messrs Begg and Co., the Band of the 12th Regiment, and all others who in auy way assisted. FETE OF NATIONS. . The rehearsal for the Fete of Nations will bo held to-night in the Theatre Roval.
