An old identity of Port Nelson Mr Adolph Wtthlstrom, died at the residence of his daughter, Mr« Biggs «vt Brooklvn; (Wellington) on Saturday lasts, after a short illness, at.the.age of 73 jears. , Deceased, who was a native of Sweden., ! arrived here in the barque Wilhelmina ! from London 53 years ago, and has loli lowed-the shipbuilding trade ever since. Amongst other vessels he built the steamer Waitapu and the ketch. 'Camellia, both well known coasters nv their day. The deceased leaves a son, Captain Wahlstrom of the &s. Putiki, .and a daughter, Mrs Biggs, of Wellington. His wife predeceased him two'years ago. The funeral took place at Nelson on Tuesday. " '"
