The weather at the etart was delightful, but after the first race a very high wind prevailed. Results ;— - Maiden Plate; 6 furlongs; Martyxess 1, Thoughtful 2, Blacking 3. Time, 1.15 3-5. + . Hack Hurdles; 1J miles: Glen Nevis 1, Ascalon 2, The Diver 3. Won on the post by half a head. Time, 3.33 4-6. Whariti Hack Handicap; 7 furlongs: Janitor 1, Merrie Gain 2, Blackall 3. Won. by a length. Time, 1.29 3-5. Woodville Cup; 1£ miles: Sir Alba 1, Hiwitapu 2, Sir Donald 3. Half-way down the straight Sir Alba shot out, and, maintaining the lead, won comfortably by a length, half a length separating serond and third. Time, 2.9. County Hack Handicap; 6 furlongs: Husheen 1, Ladogeur 2, Vladitteau 3. Tims>, 1.16. President's Handicap; 7 furlongs: Monologue 1, Zeus 2, Kina 3. Time, 1.29 1-5. Victoria Handicap; 1 mile 170 yards: Midnight "Star 1, Prince Laddo 2, San 3. Time, 1.58 2-5. Telephone Handicap; 5 furlongs: Denise Orme 1, Blue Lake 2. Suratura 3. Won by half a length. Time, 1.2. I Autumn Hurdles; If miles: Andrea 1, I Stone Ginger 2, Gastiron 3. Won by a [ little over a length. ; Gladbrook Handicap; 1 mile : Wild [-Pilgrim 1, All Ready 2, Roumadia 3. : Time, 1.44. Champagne Stakes, for two-year-olds; 6 furlongs : Adjutant 1, Snub 2, Recorder 3. Won by a neck. Time, 1.17 3-5. Dunedin Cup; 1£ mies: Warstep 1, Ogier 2, Specialform 3. Ggier came with a great run, but was defeated by half a head, with Specialform two lengths awav. Time, 2.36. Apprentices' Plate; 6 furlongs : Teviotdale 1, Dorothy Perking 2, Coroniform 3. Time, 1.17. Publicans' Handicap ; 6 furlongs: Sartorze 1, Charmilla 2, Reval 3. Won by half a length. Time, 115 2-5. Stewards' Welter; 1 mile: Lad rone 1, Scotch Melody 2, Mount Victoria 3.
