POSITION OF CANDIDATES. The pcsition of candidates in the Carni% - al Queen election at the count at one o'clock to-day was as follows : Miss Dorrie Bland (Hop and Barley Growers). Miss Gladvs Bradley (Territorials). Miss Gladvs Buchanan (Oddfellows). Miss Elsie Harris Rifle Club). Miss Doris Betts (Public Service). Miss Rona Hamilton (Swimming Club). Miss Lilv Pearfc (Farmers' Union). Miss Gladvs Baxter (Hibernian). Miss Essie* Hair (Old Boys). The colours of the candidates are as follows: — Hamilton, light blue and dark blue; Miss Bradley, "red, white, and blue; Miss Baxter, green and white- Miss Buchanan, red; Miss Peart, white; Miss Bland, black and gold ; Miss Hair, light blue, dark blue, and white; Miss Harris, blue and maroon; Miss Betts. blue.
