(Received Dec. 18. 12.55 p .m.) LONDON, Dee. 17. The Government has appointed a committee to inquire into German outrages and breaches of the laws of war. Lord Brvcc will be the chairman, and the other members are Sir Frederick Pollock. Sir Edward Clarke, Sir Alfred Hopkinson. Professor Herbert Fisher, ana Mr Harold Cox. A German named Vaus.-h. ringleader of the riot at Douglas alien camp, was sentenced to five years' imprisonment.
