PARIS, Dec. 17. {Offical.) We have "progressed slightly as far as the sea north-east of Nienport, and also sonth-east of Ypres and along the railway towards La Bassee. BOMBARDMENT OF BELGIAN COAST. LONDON, Dec. 17. The Monitors .on the Belgian coast continue to harass the Germans. British -warships, and also barges en *tho Yser armed with cannon, participated in Tuesday's fighting. The Allies advanced from Nieuport to Lorhbaertzvde and resisted several, counter attacks. There Tvere violent artillerv duels all night, and on Wednes.day the Allies' held the captured positions. ~
