GALE IN THE NORTH
(United Pbess Association.) iMASTERTON, This Day. A. gale of great violence was experienced' last night. -Sheds 'were blown down, windows smashed, trees uprooted, and orchai'ds stripped. . Trees fell across the telegraph lines north and south. DANNEVJRKE, This Day. A violent gale raged at Danncvirkc last night. It was the worst experienced for yours. Much damage done to orchards and crops while fencing, and, in some instances, parts of buildings -were blown away and "chimneys levelled.
