AUSTRIA AND MONTENEGRO
BLOCKADE OF THE COAST. (Received Aug. 17, 8.15 a.m.) ROME, Aug. 16. The Government asks Austria, either to make the blockade of the Austrian coast effective or to formally withdraw. This step is considered necessary on account of Italy's comirercial relations •with Montenegro. MONTENEGRINS BOMBARDING. (Received August 17, 8.15 a.m.) CETTINJE, August 16. A telegram states that the Montene.grine fire (effectively bombarding -the Austrian position' in the Gulf of Cattaro. Two forts and a powder magazine were destroyed.
