The hymn, Abide with Me" was sung at the Jrave Lside. ° We regret to have to' record the death of Mrs Joseph Hoult, of Wai-iti, • aged 74. She died yesterday. Her. funeral takes place to-morrow. HARMONIC SOCIETY. The Wakefield Harmonic Society/took up the. wotk of the winter session last nights The piece is "The Mav Queen," by Bennet. .Between 40. and" 50 mem- i bers rolled up. Several were -absent. ! but intend coming next. Tuesday. Our genial and able conductor, Mr E. Edridge, ought to feel gratified at the j support given him in his endeavours to j do something for the benefit of the inn- { fiical portion of our community.
