Monthly meeting

At the monthly meeting of the Nelson Land Board the following were present : Air F. A. Thompson (Conimissibner); and Messrs W. G. Baigent, II; Patterson; A. Sinclair, and G. Walker;

A letter was read from the UnderSecretary for Lands, notifying the approval of the Minister of the granting to R. Price of. a renewable lease of 200 acres in block iii, Wangapeka district, at a capital value of 10s per acre. Applications to purchase for cash were dealt with as follows: Frederick John Fellowes, section 9, block vi., Waitapu, 2r lip.—Appraiser's report received and adopted. Appo Louis Hocton, block vii., Wai-iti, 2a 2r Bp.—Deferred until reservation lifted.

Application for O.R.P- : Rose Wyness, sectiqu 5, block vii., Hope, 571 acres, successful at ballot.—Granted.

Application for R.P. : Elizabeth Sims, section 6, blckk vii., Hope, 938 acres, successful at ballot.—'Granted.

Applications for occupation licenses with right of purchase : Frederick Hudson. sections - 31 and 126, block vi., and section 32, block x., Motueka, 394 acres.; declined, in road access. Frank Clarence Fauchelle, block ii., Takaka, 100 acres; declined, in road access.
