A tragedy is reported from Y"ass, where Robert Reidy. aged 66, evidently suddenly developed insanity and struck his wife, who was packing (TTothes. on the back of the head with an axe, and afterwards cut her throat with a knife. Subsequently he cut his own throat! Both are dead. The murder was witnessed by a nine-year-old grand-daughter. Reid.y was inclined to be peculiar. He was continually indulging in' prayer.
