COUNT MIELCZYNSKI'S ACQUITTAL
APPEAL AGAINST THE VERDICT.
(P>RES3 Association. —Copyright.;
BERLIN, March 5. The Public Prosecutor has appealed against. Count Mielczynski's acquittal.
(If Count Mielzynski had succeeded in evading arrest for twenty-fo'ur hours, he would have been protected from capture by a clause in the Constitution until the German Reichstag, of Which he is a member, had given its consent to the proceedings being taken against one of its members. By himself notifying his crime to the authorities he,' apparently, forfeited the benefits of this Parliajmentery 'privilege. In appearance the Count has been described as suggesting much more an artists of romantic temperament than, a ira-n likely to commit acts of murderous violence. Be is below the average in height, and of slight build, while his refined,- pale features,' which are almost feminine in the delicacy of their contours, wear an. expression of pensive melancholy.)
