WELLINGTON, March 5. During the four weeks ended January the railway revenue totalled £352,219; North Island. £189,947; South Island, £153.272. For the corresponding period last vear the North Island receipts totalled £180,115, and the' South Island £148.255. The expenditure last January was £125,785 N< rth. and £93.870 South, as against £123,C68 and £98,551 respectively last year. The percentage of expenditure in ratio to revenue was 73,27; against 63.44 a year ago.
