A fire gutted Wright and Carman's printing office, Eeatherston-street, this evening though the machinery room was less seriously damaged by the fire than by water. The outbreak is supposedfitofhave occurred through the upsettingv?of a, kerosene lamp used for makiiig-'tea. The plant and stock were insured;Jor £IBOO in the Norwich Union, Standard, and Phoenix offices, and the building for £3OO in the New Zealand office.
