A FINANCIAL LOSS. (United Pbess Association.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 22. At a meeting of the executive of. tho New Zealand Competitions Society the financial position arising out 'of the recent competitions, which fell.. on evil days in the early part of the strike, was discussed at length. It was reported, that 'the creditors had agreed to accept 12s in tho £ in the settlement of all claims, and it was decided to pay accordingly.
