STOKERS GIVE TROUBLE
REFUSAL TO OBEY ORDERS. (United Prhss Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Fourteen t stokehold hands from the Whakarua appeared at the Magistrate's Court to-day, charged -with disobeying orders by not mustering for examination by the health officer when ordered; to do so by the captain on arrival at Wellington yesterday. Th© delay cost the steamer's owners £25. The defendants were fined 10s each and costs.
