THE ALBANIAN REBELLION
POWERS MUST ACTIVELY INTERVENE.

It is reported that Turkey has hurriedly summoned the .reservists in -Asia Minor.
Many disguised -officers and soldiersi are advancing into western Thrace, which adjoins the territory conquered by the Servians and Greeks. Servia is raising a force of 60,000 men to subjugate the Albanian raiders. The latter have occupied several Servian frontier towns. Hard lighting is reported at Gusinje and Tuzi. Advices from Cet-tinje state that Montenegro now contemplates a punitive expedition into' the heart of Albania. The consensus of opinion in diplomatic circles is that unless Europe is prepared to countenance the collapse of its own work active intervention is imperative. It is run:oured that Italy has urged the Powers to send an international force to Albania to prevent insurrection in the Albano-Servian districts.
