The Resident Surgeon of the Hospital (Dr Washbourn) reported at to-day's meeting of the Hospital Board that the Institution had been very much prossed for room during the last six or eight weeks. More than 2500 of the poorest people in the East End were the guests of M. Poincare, the French President, at a. banquet in London provided out of his gift of £2OO during his recent visit. A telegram of greeting was sent to the President.
