A feature of the show was the splendid , jumping in the competitions, for which fa there were large entries. The result! were : —Ladies' leaping competition, E. Short's Scout I,'JE. Short's Dinizuhi (both ridden by Mrs Bekke, Wanganu:), R. D. Morrison's Grey Dawn (Miss J. Angus, Hastings) 3. Champion jump: J. Niven's Pickpocket 1, H. Hassall's Micky Free 2, E. Williams' Wild Fire 3. Consolation jumping: E. Wild Fire 1, J. R. MaePonald's .. Betrayer 2, Hassall's -Micky Free 3.
