In the case in which Mrs Parry, a widow, sued the National Insurance Commissioners for £IOOO, alleging negligence in nut providing sanatorium treatment, and thus causing her husband's death, the verdict was for the Insurance Commissioners, oil the ground that the deceased's death was not due to their negligence, despite the jury awarding the widow £l5O.
