CAPU.'N MEMORIAL UNVEILED AT SHU' COVE. TO-DAY. (United Phess Association ) BLENHEIM, This Day. A great amount of public interest was displayed in the unveiling of the Captain Cook monument at Ship Cove to-day by the Governor. The ceremony took place at mid-dav, in the presence of a large concourse of people, wholly representative of Marlborough. A large number of excursionists from Wellington were present at the function. The .speakers included the Governor, Hon. F. M. B. Fisher, Hon. F. H. D. Bell, Hon. R. McNab, Mr John Duncan (chairman of the Memorial Committee), and Mr R. McCallum, M.P. for Wairau. The Vice-regal party landed from the Tutanekai. Excursion steamers ran from Wel7>ngton and Picton. The Amokura was in the Cove, the boys having assisted in the arrangements. Fino weather prevailed for the unveiling ceremony.
