MR FI~iER SPEAKS AT GREYMO'CTri. (tisiTßu Press Association.) GREYMOUTH, Feb. 3. The Hon. F. M. B. Fisher addressed a large - audience in the-Town Hall tonight. The Mayor presided. The address, which was given under the auspices of the Reform League, was on similar lines to the Hokitika speech. On account of the rise in the prie,e of leather, ihe whole-sale price of boats has had an upward tendency, and manufacturers have raised their prices 100. A mum her of the retail business said that the retailors had not yet. decided to raise their prices, as they were awaiting the result of the recent conference with the Minister of Customs. It was likely, however, that in the near future, both retail and wholesale houses would need ta increase the price of foots. The fmyiiiouth correspondent of the "Pre.--s.'' says that the property in Sed-don-street, Jvumara, owned by the late R. J. Ssddon, al.-o the residence of the late Premier adjoining, has been disposed cf to Mr F. Roberts, who commenced: to remove the buildings on Wednesday, thus another old landmark of the town will disappear.
