CRICKET

A cricket match was played at Stoke_ on Saturday between the 'Nelson Tailora' and the Industrial School. The School' won after a very enjoyable gaahe, by ail innings and 14 runs. The Tailors provided the boys with refreshments, which proved very acceptable. The following were the chief scorers.-—Stoke 113 (McEvoy 76, Petersen 13), and the Tailors 35 and 64 (Clarke 23, Batt 13, Dixon' 14; Pike 11). Wilson and,O'Brien for Stoke, and Dixon and Batt for tho Tailora, were the best bowlers.
