SIEGE OF ADRIANOPLE
SERVIAN REINFORCEMENTS. VIENNA, Nov. 5. The newspapers, discussing the Servian aspirations to secure", a. port on the Adriatic, declare that Austria will not tolerate any shifting of power which would threaten her rule over the Eastern Adriatic, and block access to the Aegean Sea. The "Iveichpost" eays 40,000 Servians are pushing forward to strengthen the Bulgarians at A-drianople and enable the latter to join the march to Constantinople. The previous engagements have made serious gaps in the Bulgarian ranks, which require to be filled to permit them to march on Constantinople in triumph, which the victorious army demands. It is reported that the Montenegrins were unable to hold Tarabosch, and were dislodged, leaving several guns, which they disabled. The Montenegrins-burned the Mohammedan villages of Mossi and Missohm, which they "repeatedly attacked. The Turks scored a small success. TURKISH SORTIE REPULSED SOFIA, Nov. 5. Twenty battalions of Turks on Sunday, supported by artillery, made a sortie on both banks of the Mantza west bT Adrianople. The Bulgarians, by a vigorous counter attack, drove back the enemy into the fortress, inflicting heavy losses. TURKS PREPARING TO DEFEND CHATALDJA. (Rec. Nov. 6, 11 a.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, Nov. 5. The Turks are preparing to defend Chataldja. Asiatic troops are constantly arriving, and 15,000 Circassian horsemen have landed. A TURKISH FORCE SURROUNDED. (Rec. Nov. 6, 11 a.m.) SOFIA, Nov. 5. A lartje force has occupied Derkos and cut .off the aqueduct upon which the capital is dependent for a water supply. The Bulgarian troops have occupied the region between Chorlu and Chataldja. completely surrounding one Turkish force.
