SATURDAY'S MATCHES. A four-ball bogey competition (handicap) was played at the links on Saturday afternoon, whfen Treweek and Hair returned the winning card with 12 up on bogey, which, for this form of competition, can safely be put down as a Tecord for the links. The winners were heartily congratulated by the members, and the win was undoubtedly a most popular one. The following cards were put in : Treweek and Hair, 12 up. McKee and Wise, 5 up. McLaren and Burnes, 4 up. Jackson and Tyerman, 3 up. Richmond and Rout, 1 up. Robison and Maides, 1 down. McCabe and Houlker, 1 down. Dodds and Dodds, 1 down. Wilmot and Davies, 1 down. Bigg-Wither and Coote, 1 down. CAPTAIN'S TROPHY. The following are the results of the third round of the Captain's trophy : Cock beat Dodds, 3 and 2. Dalziel beat Monson, 1 up. Coote beat McLaren. Pollock beat Fell, 6 and 4. Richmond beat Bigg-Wither, 2 up. Rout beat T. Houlker, 3 and 2. Jackson beat Booth, 2 and 1. Harley beat Squires, 2 and 1. Scott beat Maides, 4 and 2. Bush by be.at Smith, 4 and 3.. Treweek beat Dodds. In the 4th round the following matches have been played : Cock, J. H., beat Dalziel, 8 up. Booth beat McCabe, 3 and 1. Harley, C. J., beat Scott, 5 and 4. Richmond beat Rout, 3 and 2.
