Extraordinary ec-enos were witnessed at the trial of Treukler. a locksmith, who confessed: to a triple ..murder in A jeweller's shop on January 18th. Fashionable women flocked the Court. Trenkler, who is in an advanced state of consumption, and is dying, presented a pitiable figure. Despite the presence of paper parcels containing the skulls of his victims, the accused narrated how he felled his wife, and was escaping when a girl entered. She clung to him until he felled her, with a- iemmy. He was driven to the murders by an irrestible longing for gold and jewels. An attack ,of hemorrhage necessitated | an adjournment of the hearing.
