MILL WORKERS' AWARD. (United Press Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day. The Chairman of the Wellington Woollen Company states that the Arbitration Court award in the mill dispute is unlikely to have any serious effect on New Zealand's woollen industry. Although some increases have been granted, nothing like the original demands of the Union have been given. THE SHEARERS' CONFERENCE. WELLINGTON, This Day. The Shearers' conference decided to establish a head office at Wellington not later than Ist September. PREFERENCE TO UNIONISTS. WELLINGTON. This Day. In reply to a timber workers' deputation to Hon. G. Laurenson supported statu tozy preference to unionists.
