WELLINGTON FRUIT AND PIIQDUCE MARKETS. (Special to "Mail.") The Net*- Zealand Farmers' Co-opera-tive Distributing Co., Ltd.. reports as follows on the Wellington fruit and produce markets:— The potato market is unchanged, good lines meeting fair demand. Onions are selling readily, with an eager demand for well ripened lots. There are a good many shipments arriving in a damp and badly harvested condition. Eggs art firmer, and enquiries are reaching us far preserved lines at Is 2d per dozen. Butter continues in excellent demand. Porkers meet ready sale, and the market is under-supplied. Poultry is still dull of sale, but chiefly owing to the poor quality of lots "now coming in. Pollard is still scarce, also other meals. Bran is somewhat lower. All grains, except Maize, show marked signs of falling values. Chaff is also weakening.
