Mr. Marshall' Hall, Iv.C., in opening tho' defence of the Seddons '(husband and. wife), who are charged with the murder of Miss Barrow, stated that the prosecution had failed to prove th e Seddons possession or administration of., arsenic. The Seddons' daughter would give- evidence that Miss Barrow had sent her for fly papers for domestic purposes. Barrow was weak-minded and possibly drank water off immersed fly papers. Th© Seddons' evidence has not been completed.

AN ADMISSION. (Received 8.55 a.m.) DOND'ON, March 10. . Sir ICufus Isaacs had not concluded his cross examination of Seddon when the ijourt adjourned. Seddon admitted that ho and his wife cashed £165 worth of Barrow's banknotes, sometimes writing false names and addresses to the bank.
