FIRE BRIGADES CONFERENCE

TO-DAY'S SITTING. (United Press Association.) ROTORUA, This Day. At the Fire Brigades' Conference today remits were passed amending the rules for competitions. President Boyes presented a star for 25 years' service to fifteen members, and to ex-President Gilberd (Napier) the life membership badge of the Association. Invitations- were received from Palmerston and Wanganui for the biennial demonstration and for the conference next year. The brigades will ballot by post.
