BOXING. (United Pkess Association.) WANGANUI. Friday. There was a very large attendance at the Wanganui Amateur Boxing Association's tournament last night, when Tim Tracey (Wiellington)i and A. Maxwell (Taranaki) boxed a draw, after the full 15 rounds. HARBOUR BOARD. At the Wanganui Harbour Board mec-t----ing last night a notice of motion was tabled to the effect that the 'Board rescind its previous resolution to promote a. Bill to raise a loan of £250,000 for harbour improvements, and that it take steps to raise £loo,ooq instead. This means a temporary abandonment of the bis: scheme at the Heads. The new loan wiU be used for the purchase of a dredge to deepen the river channel to the town.
