The Employers' Parliamentary Council, on behalf of va,riou~ associations of employers, m ©moralised the Prime M inister against the tyranny of so-called peaceful picketing. It contends that unions should be made responsible for their actions to the ordinary law, and also urges the Govemihent to suppress a.s unlawful any federation of unions formed to paralyse the country by a general strike or lock out.
