ANOTHER BOATING ACCIDENT.

A LAUNCH TENDER CAPSIZED. FOUR MEN DROWNED. WELLINGTON, Monday. Four Lives were lost 'by a boat accident near Cap- Turnagai'n, on the East Coast. The steamer Fanny was loading wool from the beach for /the Wingaetu station, and the boat was the means of tender. While making a trip with 16 (bales tht tender's engine stopped, and the craft turned broadsid'e on to the waves, and was upset, ail four men on board being drowned. The names of tlio victims are:—A. L. Roff, aged 23; A. Johaiusen, aged 26; 0. Olsen, aged 26; and J. Jorgensen, aged 23. Two of the men clung to a bale of wool for some time {.ill it bee-ami* saturated and sank. The otiher two elmig to the boat, but were washed off. The Fanny's lifdboat was Lowered, but could' mot reach the men in ti.iiTo. FURTHER DETAILS. HOW THE itGCIDENT OCCURRED. NAPIER, Monday. According to a statement by 'Captain Slurb v. master of ftihe steamer Fanny, after "the two men an- the oa.psi7.ed boat who were clinging to a bale of wool disappeared. the two remaining members of
