AUCKLAND, Friday. The master of tfbe. steamer Nauva, which has arrived from West/port, reports that'in "-latitude' 40.8 South and looigtitude 171.53 East, Cap© FarcnveM bearing South 77 E magnetic distant 43 mil'es, a vessel's wooden mast 'floating upright about five feet high was sighted. It was covered! with marine growth, and nio signs of a hull attached could he seen. The weather was too ibad to 'investigate. The officers of the JNaaiya 'believe that the mast may belong to the missing .barque Mary Isaibel.
