ROWING.
AP.NST AND BARRY
SOME LONDON PRESS COMMENTS
(Press Association.—Copyright.)
(Received 10.30 a.m.) FREMANTLE, Friday
Late files of the English "Sportsman," commenting on the Arnst-Barry proposal, sity that if Arnst persists in his demands for £750 expenses to meet Barry, it fears that the amount will prove a stumbling block to the match. The paper adds that the Now Zealander appraises himself highly, but must -remember that in visiting England he is uncpjestionably taking a greater risk of losing the championship of the world than if he rowed on homo waters.
